#player1 Joshua_Sokol Joshua Sokol
#player2 Michael_Fagen Michael Fagen
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEEIIT -AAEII +0 0
#note considered ATE but no need to be so variant. Sim prefers it by over a point tho
>Michael_Fagen: EFIRX 8H REFIX +46 46
>Joshua_Sokol: ?DEORTW K4 ROWD.EsT +94 94
#note Should have played WORDIEST or WORRITED. Wondered it this took the front C. Just CROWDY, not CROWDIEST*. Would have challenged and would probably not have played CROWDIEST*
>Michael_Fagen: AAEGLTT 5I GL.AT +6 52
#note A definite area in which Michael needs to improve on. He didn't know what to do, so he just kept the best leave he could think of and played off unwanted tiles. Do not score six points, folks. He knew this was bad. Nothing is very good here though.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEKNOPS G6 KOP +28 122
#note N2 KNOSP is great. Forgot about that word.
>Michael_Fagen: ABEGGNT I7 B.G +11 63
#note He said he had been going for PREFIXING a lot, so I assume this was his rack.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEJNRST 10F JETS +34 156
#note 10F DENS only sims 7 points behind this. I noticed that I could have played something like that after I hit my clock. Do you see why?! Awesome...
>Michael_Fagen: EGHNRTZ L10 HERTZ +40 103
#note nice pull of HZ apparently
>Joshua_Sokol: DDIILNR F9 D.IN +12 168
#note Really needed to play M3 NI(T)ID here, but I didn't think PREFIXING was good! Spoiler alert. I lose a turn on PREFIXING. I missed NITID. Haven't seen that word come up in a while.
>Michael_Fagen: ACGNR 14K C.AR +30 133
>Joshua_Sokol: DEILNRR 13C DIRN +23 191
#note lol

I got away with DIRN*.

I thought it was good actually.

H10 (T)IRLED sims best. Probably should play that. Didn't like TINDER's leave and board position but TIRLED's is better.
>Michael_Fagen: GNVY D13 .VY +13 146
#note Still going for PREFIXING. Doubt this is the right play regardless.
>Joshua_Sokol: EELNORS O12 NOSE +31 222
#note Pretty sure he had an S here, so allotted to block CZARS. Blocked his bingo in the process. Finally did some good intuitive work here. LOSE sims better but I didn't want to lose.
>Michael_Fagen: EGLNSUU 15D .ULES +24 170
#note Good move to keep going for PREFIXING. Sims higher than 15A UGL(Y) for that reason.
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEILPR E5 PILEA +17 239
#note Michael didn't know this hook to ILEA. Accounting for everything 8G (PREFIX)AL is the play here. Didn't want to do E11 PA(R) and wanted to start pushing the game forward. This isn't very good for the most part, but given Michael's range it seems OK. Tried to leave only marginal and hotspot-giving bingo lanes open.
>Michael_Fagen: EGNNOQU 11C QUO.N +30 200
#note Contrary to NOSE, PILEA was very bad intuitive work. Michael said that he should have played QUON(E)* here. Wonder what's up with that.
>Joshua_Sokol: AFMNORU D2 FORUM +28 267
#note O8 FURANOSE and I basically win. lol :(
>Michael_Fagen: GIN 8G ......ING +66 266
#note I was too certain this was phony. I had many opportunities to block this that I missed out on. Instead I lose my turn and swing the game around.
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEEINV - +0 267
>Michael_Fagen: AAMY C3 MAYA +41 307
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEEINV B6 CAVIE +32 299
#note CAMI was in turn challenged by Michael. He didn't learn his new 4s, and was confident in AMI's hooks.
>Michael_Fagen: ?AALOOW - +0 307
>Joshua_Sokol: ADEINSW A10 DIWANS +45 344
#note Now in the driver's seat, yet I miss WINDA(G)ES. I blame me sucking even though I had been playing Ella as well during this game.

But if you think about this position, you realize more and more that in fact, DIWANS is a better play, since it rids us of the possibility of a bingo down column A, and leaves little option for a bingo elsewhere.
>Michael_Fagen: LOU 8A O.UL. +27 334
>Joshua_Sokol: AEEEHOO 4K .HEA +26 370
#note If I had simply forgotten about my time trouble, I could have figured this one out and played J5 (L)OOFA, which wins with one more draw than RHEA does. RHEA wins 5/8 still, and blocks the possibility of ABETTIn(G). But (F)ITTABlE still plays, and Michael might attempt that one.

In any case, going overtime would not have counted, because I had been playing two games at once, but even though I agree with that club rule, and use it from time to time when I'm playing two people at once, I try very hard to play within my time limit. This bit me in the behind this time.
>Michael_Fagen: ?BEIITT 7I .I.ET +26 360
#note He played this almost instantly. His only win.
>Joshua_Sokol: AEEOO 3N AE +4 374
#note blocking RHEAS but I shouldn't really to that, rather I should hope that he chickens out of both RHEAS and YUPS and play M10 OE or AE this turn, although I still lose to other things.
>Michael_Fagen: ?BIT 2N Ba +17 377
#note Oh my god did anybody notice EXAHERTZ?!?!?!?!?!?!??

Wow this game just got so much cooler. His best play is 9K (E)aT. For 33.

Wow that changes stuff.

Wow.
