#note have to go 2-0 +215 against joey to win
>Joey_Mallick: ?EHIOPT D5 Is.PHOTE +80 92
#note Ooh, CHIPOTLE. I prefer ISOPHOTE defensively though.
>Jackson_Smylie: CGKNRRT 5B TR.CK +22 90
#note Wasn't 100% sure of TR(O)CK. TRICK is okay here except for the fact that I am not sure of it
>Joey_Mallick: AAEFORW C9 AWARE +33 125
>Jackson_Smylie: ADGINRR G6 R..ARDING +63 153
>Joey_Mallick: AEFILOS H12 FOIL +47 172
>Jackson_Smylie: IMOOOST F9 MOO +18 171
#note didn't like the scores TOOM gave back... I am fine with this.
>Joey_Mallick: ABEENSY B11 BEYS +31 203
#note Joey: I couldn't remember STRICK for sure. Otherwise, ABYES goes there.
Jackson: I was very prepared to play STRICK if I at all needed to (like if I had a play 5-10 better than all others there), but then Joey plays BEYS and makes me think it's not a word, cause he could have an A or O for OBEYS/ABYES, and BYTES BYRES and so on... I figured he would know better than me but no, strick is good!
>Jackson_Smylie: CIINOST A13 TIC +23 194
#note ICONS is fine here. again avoiding the hook
>Joey_Mallick: AEINNSX J4 NIXES +35 238
#note Lightning STRICK twice! That still sounds weird.
>Jackson_Smylie: EFINOSV K5 FIN +33 227
#note fives
>Joey_Mallick: AEEINOW I13 WE +23 261
>Jackson_Smylie: EOOSTUV 15H .EVO +13 240
#note trying to open the bottom right, generally just stalling
>Joey_Mallick: AADEINO 6A AI +8 269
>Jackson_Smylie: OPQSTUU C2 POU. +12 252
#note very tough decision here, and I think I made the wrong call, even trying not to be biased by what happened. S might be in his range slightly more than average, but the board is so wonky that AI's range is much broader than it would be normally - vowels (as he had) are very likely. I imagine he also wanted to block the STRICK hook which he was not sure of, though at the time I figured he'd know either way, so he didn't think it was good. That being said, I played POUR to try and get an L1 play, QUADS or QUITS with an I draw, occasionally quods. that puts me right back in the game, and it's not likely that the spot will be taken. POUT is much more aggressive, but it might be just what I need here since he's still up and a tempo
>Joey_Mallick: ADEJNOR B1 JO +26 295
>Jackson_Smylie: EEQSSTU 3B T.QUE +24 276
#note a play like TEES/NOWS seems kind of silly, even though I must draw QUITS/QUAGS/QUADS/QUINS a decent amoutn of the time, dropping see somewhere also seems silly. I wanted to give myself bingo chances here. POUT would have worked nicely. I consideredd EQUES as well, which is maybe what I should do cause I have another lane, and ST which I can set up later. Probably should do that here, but I don't dislike toque.
>Joey_Mallick: ADDENRR L7 DARNDER +74 369
#note Joey: Looked like a word to me. Apparently DARNDEST is only a noun, not a superlative.
Jackson: ****!!!**!*!*!*!*!*!*!!*!*!*!***!!!!!
>Jackson_Smylie: BESSUUY 2F BUY +24 300
#note I think I must have mistracked, cause I don't remember the pool being quite so good for the spot I create... when he doesn't miraculously have AAAM, he gets GYNIE a lot.
>Joey_Mallick: AEILMNZ 1H MIZEN +72 441
>Jackson_Smylie: AEENSSU M1 SUE +23 323
#note AENEUS at the bottom is best
>Joey_Mallick: AAGGILL 4F AGAI. +17 458
#note GINGAL for a few more spread points.
>Jackson_Smylie: AENS M11 ANES +17 340
>Jackson_Smylie: (GLL) +8 348
