>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DIOTV 8D DIVOT +22 22
>Joshua_Sokol: ABDEEII 7G BIDE +21 21
#note This was a bad play. I don't know why I made this play. I saw ABIDE(D) D3 first, then forgot about it. I don't want a wide-open board against Matthew! BEEDI also looks better, same spot.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ELNRRTU D4 TRUN.LER +68 90
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AEIIIU -AIIU +0 21
#note Which exchange do you like?
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEMTY 6F MATEY +48 138
>Joshua_Sokol: ?EGINRS 12D SNIgGER +88 109
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AELPRY 8J REPLAY +48 186
>Joshua_Sokol: AEFISX K2 FAXES +41 150
#note I can't remember my last tile, and that's important, but I know it was not a duplicate or a vowel. I saw no reason to play FAX at 11I here, as it took out two good 7 lanes and gave back huge overlap plays, that favor Matthew's tiles, given that 6 of them are random. I didn't however spot E10 XE(N)IA, which looks like the right play.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EEVW 3I WE.VE +30 216
>Joshua_Sokol: HIIMNOS L3 .IM +38 188
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: IOPTU H10 PI.OUT +27 243
>Joshua_Sokol: ADHINOS M6 HA.IDONS +78 266
>Joshua_Sokol: ADHINOS -- -78 188
#note I knew ANTHOIDS was no good, so playing this seemed obvious. Unfortunately I keep mixing this up with HALIDOM. This play is why I lost this game.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EOW E3 WOE +18 261
>Joshua_Sokol: ADHINOS N2 ODAH +29 217
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: GNT 14G T.NG +9 270
>Joshua_Sokol: EINOOSU 2I OO. +17 234
#note hoping he is vowelless
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?CDERST 1D CRuDEST +95 365
#note not even close to the right inference! scored as 91.
>Joshua_Sokol: EIILNSU 10B LI.U +6 240
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AKO 7L OAK +21 386
>Joshua_Sokol: EINORSZ L7 ..SONIZER +92 332
#note Well, there it is, folks! Hitting Matthew with a taste of his own medicine... Held and released after this was slapped down.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AFH M12 FAH +50 436
>Joshua_Sokol: AAABLNN B7 BAL. +6 338
#note I thought the bag was empty. This play is still interesting if I draw the J. But it's better played at B8. If I draw the J, he has to see JNANA and block it with QUI(RE). Otherwise I gain a ton of spread.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CEGIJQU O1 QI +35 471
>Joshua_Sokol: AAINN A6 NANA +24 362
#note -8 to ANA, I missed IN(WEAVED)
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CEGJU F11 J.G +11 482
>Joshua_Sokol: I 5N .I +5 367
>Joshua_Sokol: (CEU) +10 377
